MDA Leadership Consulting Expands Organizational Performance Practice

MINNEAPOLIS, June 3 – MDA Leadership Consulting announced today that the firm has expanded its capabilities and depth in organizational change consulting with the addition of senior consultant Nancy Weidenfeller and the appointment of firm principal and executive vice president Bob Barnett, Ph.D., L.P., to the faculty of Pepperdine University, Malibu, Calif. MDA now offers a full complement of services designed to help corporate executives consider and make changes in their operational strategy, organizational structure or internal processes to increase productivity, effectiveness and profitability.

“The goal of the Organizational Performance practice is to help clients strengthen their organizations, implement changes and stabilize improvements over the long term,” said Peter Germann, senior consultant, vice president and leader of the Organizational Performance practice at MDA Leadership Consulting. Germann and his team have developed a spectrum of services to assist MDA clients with improving organizational effectiveness, alignment and change implementation. 

Barnett was recently appointed an adjunct professor at Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management, which offers a nationally recognized graduate training program in strategic change and organizational development.

 Barnett came to MDA in 1982 as an adjunct staff member and joined full-time as a senior consultant in 1985. He has a bachelor’s and doctorate degree from the University of Minnesota. He received his master’s degree in organizational development from Pepperdine University in 1994. He is a frequent presenter at the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. He is a licensed psychologist and an adjunct associate professor of management at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota.

Weidenfeller joins MDA Leadership Consulting with more than 20 years of experience in organization development, quality initiatives and management, as well as talent management. Prior to joining MDA, Weidenfeller was a senior consultant in the Human Capital Group with Watson Wyatt Worldwide and a principal with Davies Consulting, Inc. She has a bachelor’s degree in business/HR management, and a certificate in psychology from the Adler Institute, Minneapolis, and master’s degree in organizational leadership from the College of St. Catherine, St. Paul, Minn.
