MDA Leadership Consulting brings on four new consultants

(February 25, 2008) Minneapolis – MDA Leadership Consulting announced today the addition of four new consultant team members to support the firm's expanding client base and breadth of services. Joining the firm are Pelè Raymond Ugboajah, Ph.D, senior consultant and executive coach; Steve Wolinski, M.S., L.P., senior consultant and executive coach; Lisa Gordon, Ph.D., L.P., talent management consultant; and Renee O'Brien, leadership development coordinator and consultant;.

Pelè Raymond Ugboajah, Ph.D, comes to MDA as a senior consultant and executive coach. Early in his career, Ugboajah was one of Parametric Technology Corporation's (PTC) first Windchill 'evangelists', who helped to turn its flagship software product into a $200 million dollar business. Later, as director of marketing at Electronic Data Systems Corporation (EDS), he led the business presentation effort to establish the $20-billiondollar corporation as a global leader in the enterprise software marketplace. Ugboajah holds BA and B.Arch degrees from the University of Minnesota, an MBA from American Intercontinental University, and a PhD in Organization and Management with a specialization in Leadership from Capella University. He is the author of Parable Point Presentations: The Most Effective System for Winning More Clients in the Complex Sale. Ugboajah is a member of the National Speakers Association and the American Society for Training and Development.

Steve Wolinski, M.S., L.P., joins MDA as a senior consultant and executive coach. Wolinksi's 20 years of experience working with individuals, groups, and organizations has included the design and delivery of leadership development programs and the planning and facilitation of large-scale strategic change initiatives. Prior to joining MDA, Wolinksi spent six years as an independent leadership and organizational development consultant and executive coach, working with such companies as Cargill, Best Buy, and Lifetime Fitness. Wolinski has also held internal positions with Park Nicollet Health Services, the University of Minnesota, and Target Corporation. He received his M.S. in Systems Psychology from the University of Wisconsin and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota. A licensed psychologist, he is a Ph.D. candidate in Organizational Psychology at the University of Tilburg/Taos Institute. He has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Minnesota and the Art Institute International of Minnesota, teaching courses in the psychology of motivation, group dynamics, and critical thinking.

Lisa Gordon, Ph.D., L.P. joins MDA as a consultant specializing in talent assessment for selection and promotion decisions. Prior to joining MDA, Gordon was an assessment consultant with both Greybirch LLC and Personnel Decisions International. Prior to being a consultant, she worked for Ramsey County to evaluate county mental health services and for the University of Minnesota where she conducted mental-health related research. Gordon has a B.A. from University of Minnesota, Duluth, a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Minnesota, and is a licensed psychologist.

Renee O'Brien joins MDA as a leadership development coordinator and consultant, where she will focus on process improvement and project coordination. Previously, O'Brien was a project manager at marketing consulting firm Arundel Street Consulting (ASC). Prior to ASC, O'Brien worked in a variety of sales and marketing roles for Personnel Decisions International. O'Brien is a graduate of University of Minnesota, with a B.A. in Philosophy and a minor in Chinese.
