Steve Wolinski is most jazzed when he has the opportunity to assist leaders and organizations turn insight into action and bottom-line results. He has provided assessment, leadership development, and organizational change services to numerous public, private, and non-profit organizations. Steve has worked with Fortune 100 corporations, family-owned businesses, healthcare organizations, and universities.

Steve has deep expertise in psychological assessment, helping leaders and businesses identify, select, and leverage internal and external talent. He excels in coaching clients using an approach that quickly facilitates the identification and realization of desired outcomes aligned with the vision, mission, and goals of an organization. Steves 20 years of experience working with individuals, groups, and organizations has included the design and delivery of leadership development programs and the planning and facilitation of large-scale strategic change initiatives.

Prior to coming to MDA Steve spent six years as an independent leadership and organizational development consultant and executive coach, working with such companies as Cargill, Best Buy, and Lifetime Fitness. Steve has also held internal positions with Park Nicollet Health Services, the University of Minnesota, and Target Corporation. He received his M.S. in Systems Psychology from the University of Wisconsin and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Minnesota. A licensed psychologist, he is a Ph.D. candidate in Organizational Psychology at the University of Tilburg/Taos Institute. He has been adjunct faculty at the University of Minnesota and the Art Institute International of Minnesota, teaching courses in the psychology of motivation, group dynamics, and critical thinking.

Steve is originally from Minneapolis and is especially fond of the music, theatre, and community festivals in the area. He is an avid tennis player, scuba-diver, downhill skier, and compulsive reader. Steve is the manager of his daughters soccer team and looks forward each year to his annual father-daughter trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.
