Lisa is privileged to partner with organizations to make meaningful and informed decisions about their leadership talent. She believes, and research confirms, that how one leads really does matter! How one leads not only impacts the financial well-being of an organization, but also the experience and development of every person he/she touches within that organization.
Lisa gains a deep understanding of the organizations with which she works and builds open and trusting relationships with its leaders. She has expertise in:
- assessment for the purposes of selection, development, and potential (with particular specialization in the assessment of sales professionals across the leadership pipeline)
- creating talent reviews
- competency modeling
- executive coaching
As a coach, you will find her to be empathic and supportive, yet direct and challenging. She works to create a relationship and environment in which others develop a true appreciation of their strengths, the courage to look closely at development opportunities, and the tenacity to try new ways of thinking and leading.
Lisa has experience working within academic, mental health, government, and corporate settings. She has presented at the state, regional, national, and international levels. Her research has been featured in the Minneapolis Star Tribune and New York Newsday newspapers, Minnesota Law and Politics magazine, and on the WCCO and Minnesota News Network radio stations in the Twin Cities.
Prior to joining MDA, her experience as an organizational consultant included work at Personnel Decisions International and her privately owned consulting practice, greybirch PLLC. She has worked with some of the most distinguished organizations in their respective industries, including Ecolab, General Mills, Medtronic, Supervalu, Target, and Wells Fargo. She holds a B.A in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Minnesota. She is a Licensed Psychologist and is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society of Consulting Psychology.
Away from the office, Lisa attempts to keep up with her lively boys and husband. She has played tennis for many years, always has a pile of reading on her nightstand, and takes an active role in community-building within her neighborhood.
